The Butler Chain Of Lakes – 12 interconnected lakes bordered with a perfect balance of magnificent homes and natural shoreline. Boating, wakeboarding, skiing, fishing and watching the magnificence of the chain’s wildlife – all describe living on the Butler Chain Of Lakes.
Outstanding Communities – Southwest Orlando is home to many outstanding communities some of which are quite well known. Bay Hill is the home of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Isleworth is known for its many luxury homes and its exclusive Isleworth Country Club. Keene’s Pointe is known for its Golden Bear Club and golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Many of the communities have frontage on the Butler Chain Of Lakes.
Restaurant Row – Sand Lake Road from Interstate 4 going west for about 5 blocks is known as Restaurant Row. There are around 24 casual and upscale restaurants that border both sides of the street. Some examples are Morton’s, Seasons 52, Bonefish Grill, Ocean Prime, Moon Fish, and Chipotle. There are also two well-known food chains located on Restauant Row – Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s.
Shopping – Within 20-25 minutes from anywhere in Southwest Orlando are two outstanding shopping malls – Florida Mall and the Mall At Millenia. The major department stores as well as specialty boutique shops can be found at both malls.
Theme Parks – Orlando is home to 3 major theme parks – Universal Studios, SeaWorld and Disney World. Universal Studios is in Southwest Orlando. SeaWorld and Disney World and only 15-25 minutes away a little bit further south.
K-12 Schools – Southwest Orlando is home to excellent public and private schools from elementary through high school. Many of the public schools are “A” rated. Two of the better known private schools with great reputations are Windermere Prep and First Academy.
